born Nov 08, out of "Balgower Allure" reg. bay Arab mare. "Hi Lesley, thanks for all those photos, they're great. Isn't Nalim awesome, I think you could put Nike over any colour mare and his colours would dominate as they obviously have over Ali. The more I learn about haflingers the more I fall in love with them, I don't think Nikal will be my first and last foal somehow, so I'm really hoping you continue to breed haflingers. I don't think people realise what a wonderful little horse the Haflinger is, They are so versatile, willing, great looking and have a beautiful temperment. Thankyou Lesley for helping have this wonderful experience." Alison "Hi there, here are some new photo's of Nikal. While he was laying down I was giving him a scratch on his back, he is getting pretty quiet now. He is 4 and a half months old now. cheers. Alison." "Hi Lesley, just thought I would let you know Nikal got picked up today and I don't know why I had such a sleepless night last night, he went on no worries like he's done it all before. See you soon, Alison. P.S. I'm gonna miss him so much." | | Last Updated ( Saturday, 07 August 2010 18:33 ) |
Dear Lesley, He is absolutely what I am looking for...... I love the idea of the quarter horse /haflinger cross for trail riding- which is what he would be used for. I am getting a little tired of some of the "puritan" breeding attitudes I have encountered in the last few years..and applaud you in crossing out the haflinger with some other breed lines! .......Alex

Im so excited with this journey and am sure in no time Nikki and Jontie will be a great team, Thankyou so much for making this journey stress free, you always kept me updated and informed, I feel very lucky the day I emailed you." take care Juliann and Nikki (Jontie's new owners - VIC) 27/1/10 "Just a quick note to keep you informed on Jontie, on Saturday Jontie was wonderful, with. He is a great little man as today was really windy and they were all calling out for him and running silly and he just did what we wanted him to do 99% of the time. So everything is going well and Jontie is settling in great, Juliann & Nikki . 28/2/10 "Jontie is going really well, Nikki adores him (obsessed) and he just fits in with us perfectly...We go see him everyday even when we can't ride or we are giving him a day off we still have to have our "Jontie" daily medicine. 18/4/10 Our first day at Pony Club went better than we could have imagined. Nikki had a fantastic time and within an hour or so Nikki's confident level was right up and she learnt so much in one day. The instructors were wonderful with both learner horse and rider I couldnt have been happier, we were signed up by lunch time and I have never seen Nikki so happy in her whole life, and I really mean that. So many people were commenting on Jontie and what a lovely little pony he is - I was so chuffed! Thankyou so very much for letting us buy your wonderful little Jontie he has not let us down nor we will him, Take care Juliann, Nikki and Jontie. 16/6/10 Just a quick little email-just heard through the grape vine that Jontie has made a big impression with some horse people around here, it was mentioned that they would pay us for them to ride and train him and are waiting for Nikki to "outgrow" him so that they can purchase him! He has such a presence about him! and we get so many compliments at PC, but I can assure you that he is never going to be for sale (and if he is you will get first offer for sure), Nikki wont even let me have a quick ride! Regards always Juliann

Sold to Janita, Mt. Gambier. "Disney is going beautifully. I took Cassie, my riding student out on the road with him riding by herself and he went really well" - Janita. "Disney is settling in really well. The kids are absolutely loving him. He is really quiet with them. They're picking up his feet, brushing, hugging him and saddling him up. They have been riding him nearly every day and loving it. I can't ask for a quieter pony for them to start out on. He is so patient with them even when they decide to take their time on the mounting block. We just love him to bits." - Janita | | Last Updated ( Monday, 12 July 2010 13:48 ) |
Sold To Jeff, Roxanne And Brodie Bridgman, Strathalbyn. "Hi Lesley, I thought we would let you know how Lil Pali, Brodie calls him Daybreak, is going. We have had him registered with the APSB, so he can be shown in both the welsh and apsb breed classes. Brodie has started riding and has gone from a nervous rider to quietly confident, so much so that he entered Lil Pali in the Topsy ring at the Strathalbyn Hunt Club All Breeds Show. He did very well bringing home many ribbons but the one he most values was winning quietest pony where they had to ride on a loose rein. So a big thank you Lesley for doing such a fantastic job with such a lovely natured pony, he is truly a wonderful child's pony. I will let you know how they get on at the next show."
Cheers Roxanne, Geoff and Brodie Bridgman
