Haflinger/ DOB. 17-9-06 Sold to Juliann and Nikki Jordan, Casterton, Vic. 17/12/09 Jontie was collected by Glen Brae Riding School for further education and use with their students. 16 Jan 2010 "Hi there, Nikki and I had a fantastic day, thankyou so much, I left with a very positive feeling. and am more than happy to pay the price requested. Im so excited with this journey and am sure in no time Nikki and Jontie will be a great team, Thankyou so much for making this journey stress free, you always kept me updated and informed, I feel very lucky the day I emailed you, we will have to catch up over the wetter months (more time then) and have lunch and you can show me some pics and videos-I look forward to it! Heading off to do some more work to get his paddock ready" take care Juliann and Nikki (Jontie's new owners - VIC) 27/1/10 "Hi there, Just a quick note to keep you informed on Jontie, on Satruday Jontie was wonderful, with. He is a great little man as today was really windy and they were all calling out for him and running silly and he just did what we wanted him to do 99% of the time. Nikki is going well, her signals sometimes confuse Jontie but she is trying very hard I let Nikki ride Jazz on Saturday so she could see what a horse who is educated a little more does with correct aids and that helped her a lot with Jontie. After this weekend we will be changing paddocks over so Nikki can ride in the open paddock where she can canter and have a bigger area and once she can handle that I will go out of trail rides. I know Jontie is ready for more but Nikki isnt just yet. So everything is going well and Jontie is settling in great, he seems to really like Nikki and considers her his equal as he tries to take her hat or, pinch the brushes - just his cheeky nature which we love-never anything naughty! Will talk soon, take care " Juliann, Nikki and Jontie. 28/2/10 "Jontie is going really well, Nikki adores him (obsessed) and he just fits in with us perfectly...he is quite forgiving with beginners and I like that he uses his brain and does try a few little things, its better for Nikki to have to ride than just sit on a plodder! We go see him everyday even when we can't ride or we are giving him a day off we still have to have our "Jontie" daily medicine. ...Mel is looking for a long term horse, she has had a few set backs finding the right one. I guess Im just a lover of the halflinger now we have Jontie. Anyway your opinion on this would be great as you know the breed, and you know your horses!" Juliann

Sold to Janita, Mt. Gambier. "Hi thought I'd give a up date on Disney. He is going really well. I have been riding him more than the kids. The weather has put them off. I've been riding him out on the road every day nearly and he is loving it and so am I " Janita "Disney is going beautifully. I took Cassie, my riding student out on the road with him riding by herself and he went really well" Janita. " Hi, It's Janita here. Disney is settling in really well. He has "palled up" with my two horses. He comes up when he sees us and is the first till my two ponies out run him which is natural with them being bigger. The kids are absolutely loving him. He is really quiet with them. They're picking up his feet, brushing, hugging him and saddling him up. Of course I put the headcollar on and the bridle due to his head shyness. He lets the kids lead him and take his headcollar off. They have been riding him nearly every day and loving it. I can't ask for a quieter pony for them to start out on. He is so patient with them even when they decide to take their time on the mounting block at getting on. We just love him to bits. I can see there is going to be a lot of fun from having Disney. They even brush his mane and tail and give lots of hugs. Here are some photo's we have taken so far of the kids with him. They are of my Daughter and my step daughter and her sister. My daughter is the main one riding Disney. I am so happy with him and so attached already. So are the kids." | | Last Updated ( Saturday, 30 January 2010 19:14 ) |

Sold To Jeff, Roxanne And Brodie Bridgman, Strathalbyn. "Hi Lesley, I thought we would let you know how Lil Pali, Brodie calls him Daybreak, is going. We have had him registered with the APSB, so he can be shown in both the welsh and apsb breed classes. Brodie has started riding and has gone from a nervous rider to quietly confident, so much so that he entered Lil Pali in the Topsy ring at the Strathalbyn Hunt Club All Breeds Show. He did very well bringing home many ribbons but the one he most values was winning quietest pony where they had to ride on a loose rein. So a big thank you Lesley for doing such a fantastic job with such a lovely natured pony, he is truly a wonderful child's pony. I will let you know how they get on at the next show."
Cheers Roxanne, Geoff and Brodie Bridgman

She is a very willing and well natured pony and I got her when she was 2 and she is 7 now so she has been with me for just about 5 years. I have ridden her in shows - (placing in every event entered), pony club , trail riding & dressage too. She is a beautiful pony and she is the best pony you can get. Thanks Lesley for helping me to have my dream pony. - Grace , owner of Serena.
